2026 Mort Friedman Humanitarian Award

Hank Greenblatt Honored With the 2026 CCTLA Mort Friedman Humanitarian Award

From all of us at Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, LLP, we are proud to announce that Attorney-Partner Hank Greenblatt has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Mort Friedman Humanitarian Award by the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association (CCTLA). This prestigious honor is awarded to attorneys who demonstrate exceptional compassion, dedication, and service to the community, which are all qualities that define Hank, through and through. In 2015, Hank was also named a CCTLA Advocate of the Year, so this latest honor adds yet another well-deserved chapter to an outstanding career.

Making Attorney Greenblatt’s recognition even more special, our own Partner Chris Woodreceived this same award just last year in 2025, making it back-to-back recognitions for members of our firm. Furthermore, Attorney Robert Buccola received this award in 2011, and Attorney Roger Dryer received this award in 2008. You could say that our team has a passion for compassionate service, and that Hank helped carry on that tradition this year.

The CCTLA has been the voice of and for Sacramento trial attorneys since 1950. The organization supports its members through advocacy, education, and community engagement, and its awards represent the highest recognition a Sacramento-area trial lawyer can receive from peers in the legal community.

Hank has been a valued member of our team since 1999, bringing with him a unique perspective gained from a decade of insurance defense work. Over the course of his career, he has secured more than 12 million-dollar-plus results for his clients, earned membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and achieved board certification as a Civil Trial Specialist through the National Board of Trial Advocacy, which is a distinction held by only 150 or so practicing attorneys in California. He has also been recognized by Super Lawyers® for more than 10 years and holds an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell®.

Congratulations, Hank! We could not be prouder, and we look forward to seeing the next amazing things you achieve for yourself, our team, and most importantly, our clients.
