DBBWC was proud to sponsor and participate in the 2025 Special Olympics Northern California Folsom Spring Games, held on Saturday, May 10th at Vista Del Lago High School in Folsom, CA.
The Spring Games brought together hundreds of athletes, coaches, families, and volunteers for a full day of track and field competition. As a sponsor, DBBWC was allocated 10 volunteer spots to support the Shot Put event, where our team had the privilege of assisting athletes and cheering them on throughout the day.
The Special Olympics creates opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to experience the joy of sport, build physical fitness, and connect with the broader community in a meaningful and inclusive way. Events like the Spring Games are a testament to the power of teamwork, perseverance, and community support.
We are grateful to have been part of such an inspiring day and remain committed to supporting organizations that promote inclusion, equity, and opportunity for all.
