Kyle McCarthy

Kyle McCarthy is an associate attorney at Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, LLP.

Born and raised in San Diego, Mr. McCarthy completed his undergraduate studies at University of California Santa Cruz, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2017. He moved to Sacramento in 2018 and began his legal career as a law clerk for Steven Campora in 2019, working to resolve the claims of hundreds of fire victims, including victims of the 2017 North Bay Fires, 2017 Thomas Fire, 2018 Camp Fire, 2018 Woolsey Fire, and 2021 Dixie Fire. Upon the successful resolution of these claims, he had the privilege of assisting numerous other attorneys at Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora to resolve motor vehicle collision, dog bite, public entity, and premises liability claims.

While working full-time as a law clerk at Dryer Babich, Mr. McCarthy attended law school in the evenings. He earned his law degree at University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law, graduating with Great Distinction in 2023. As part of his studies, Mr. McCarthy represented McGeorge in ABA Negotiations Competitions in 2022 and served as a student coach for McGeorge’s Negotiations Team in 2023.

After being admitted to the California Bar, Mr. McCarthy proudly accepted a position as an associate attorney at Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora. In his time as a clerk and attorney at the firm, Mr. McCarthy has worked and assisted on countless cases involving motor vehicle collisions, dog bites, premises liability, public entities, construction site injuries, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful deaths. He prides himself on his ability to find creative solutions to resolve his clients’ claims and ensure they are compensated to the greatest degree possible.

In his spare time, Mr. McCarthy enjoys exercising and exploring new hiking trails with his family and dogs.
