Defective Safety On Handgun

Settlement: $2.2 Million | Sacramento County Superior Court | Shehadeh v. Sigarms

Plaintiff contended that the subject handgun was defective in its manufacturing and did not have an adequate safety device to prevent accidental hammer discharges of this nature. Defendant contended that the weapon was not defective and if it was kept in a safe condition, it would not discharge inadvertently. The matter settled on the first day of trial.
