PG&E WANTS FREE PASS FROM FIRE RESPONSIBILITY

Investigations into the cause of the North Bay Fires have begun, and one corporation is emerging as a likely suspect. That corporation is PG&E.

Lawsuits have been filed by hundreds of California families who suffered through the North Bay Fires. Insurance companies have also filed lawsuits against the energy corporation. The lawsuits were coordinated together in San Francisco Superior Court where Steve Campora was chosen for the Executive Committee for individual plaintiffs. The investigation into the cause of the fires should reveal who should pay for their losses and hardship.

PG&E isn't waiting to hear that it has been found negligent. The power company has been discovered working at the State Capitol to have legislators change California's liability laws to let it off the hook for fire negligence.

If they are successful, they could be freed from any financial responsibility from this and other fires. Don't let this happen!

Here are some suggested talking points...I understand PG&E is attempting to change the law so that utilities are immune from wildfire lawsuits...PG&E is a six time felon that has repeatedly killed people due to a failure to properly maintain their infrastructure. At the same time, its showers its executives with millions in bonuses. Do not let corporate greed win...If a utility causes a wildfire that destroys people's homes and lives, they should be held responsible under the law - just like everyone else.
