Robert Nelsen is an associate attorney at Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora, LLP. He works tirelessly for the interests of Plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, insurance bad faith and products liability matters. He has also overseen dozens of six, seven and eight figure settlements through numerous stages of litigation.
For the last two years (2015 and 2016), Robert has been selected for inclusion as a “Rising Star” by Northern California Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase selection process. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis, and the sum of recipients account for only 2.5 percent of all attorneys.
In the fall of 2013, Robert co-tried the case of Hackett v. Silva Trucking, et al wherein the jury returned a verdict of $34,921,215.33 (an additional $4,664,330.48 in pre-judgment interest and expert costs were subsequently added to the verdict). This was the largest personal injury verdict in the State of California in 2013 and remains the largest personal injury verdict in Sacramento County.
